Dr. Fu carried out a series of fundamental research on stability analysis and control of AC-DC hybrid power systems, and published 40 papers, including 17 IEEE Trans. papers and 8 Proceedings of the CSEE papers. He is a reviewer of multiple IEEE transactions journals, including IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, Sustainable Energy, Power Electronics, Power Systems, and Power Delivery, etc.

付强围绕新能源大规模接入下的交直流混联系统稳定性展开了一系列基础研究，发表论文40余篇，其中IEEE Transactions论文17篇，中国电机工程学报论文8篇；担任IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, Sustainable Energy, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Power Delivery 等多本SCI期刊审稿人。
